This is the website of Hertsmere Labour Party, but it is also the home of Hertsmere Borough Council and the Elstree & Borehamwood Town Council Labour Groups.
Labour has a vibrant set of branches across the Borough, organised into Borehamwood, Radlett, Potters Bar and Bushey. Together they operate in Borehamwood, Elstree, Shenley, Potters Bar, Bushey, Bushey Heath, Radlett, Aldenham and South Mimms and contribute to local life on a daily basis.
Our elected Labour Councillors hold the Tories to account at County, Borough and Parish and Town level. Labour is the only Party in Hertsmere with a track record of putting local people first.
It was a Labour led Council that saved Elstree studios. It was only after pressure from Labour that the Tories acted on traveller incursions in the Borough last summer. It was Labour Councillors who ensured money raised from developers was spent on local projects in across the Borough rather than holding it in Council coffers. Your Labour Councillors work for better public transport, oppose cuts to crumbling NHS provision and work to ensure that Hertsmere receives the investment in public services and infrastructure that it deserves.
