Hertsmere Labour & Stevenage Labour are proud to announce the formal employment of Guy Lucas-Bhana as their first full-time joint electoral organiser. 

Guy played a central role in the local election campaigns in Hertsmere last May. Most recently Guy has worked as a political organiser across the East of England. 

Guy’s priority will be to support help deliver electoral gains for Labour in Stevenage and Hertsmere. 

Hertsmere Borough Council Labour Group Leader Jeremy Newmark said: “I’m delighted we have been able to appoint a candidate of Guy’s calibre. I want to thank the Labour Party National Executive for their support in funding this new post.”

Stevenage Labour Party Chair Jim Callaghan added: “I’m excited about the opportunities presented by this partnership. It puts us in a strong position as we approach the 2022 local elections”.
