The Audit report slamming Tory Councillors for charging their expenses to the Council-owned Elstree Studios has finally been published.

The auditors said there were ‘significant issues’ around conflict of interest, misuse of expenses, and transparency disclosures over Council-owned Elstree Studios. Conservative Council Leader Cllr Morris Bright, Cllr Paul Morris and Hertsmere Conservative Association were all specifically named.

The report goes to the Council’s Audit on Tuesday 30 July where it’s expected to be referred to the Council’s Executive the following day.
