Renos is the Councillor for Oakmere, the first Labour representative there in over 20 years. He is also the Cabinet Member for Resources, IT and Digital Transformation, having previously held council roles as Chair of Audit, Chair of the Financial Monitors Panel, and member of the Policy, Operations, Shareholder and Investment Committees.

He is a committed Rotarian and puts Rotary values at the heart of his public service. Renos regularly volunteers his time at Barracudas Swimming Club for disabled people. Living in Oakmere, Potters Bar, he met his partner while attending Chancellor’s School, and they now have two children.

Renos understands local issues and is dedicated to delivering the best for his residents. He has supported campaigns such as 20’s Plenty, the protection of Oakmere’s last remaining field, the restoration of Oakmere Park, improved EV charging infrastructure, and raising the quality of Hertsmere’s auditing by appointing an independent member to the Audit Committee.

He works as an IT Analyst at Canada Life, in the same building as veteran councillor Chris Gray. Elected in 2023, Renos is working hard to help deliver a greener, fairer future for Hertsmere.
