Chris Myers
Potters Bar Furzefield Ward (Borough) and South Mimms Ward (South Mimms and Ridge Parish Council)
Chris Myers was elected alongside his partner, Christian Gray, in 2019. He is a life-long resident of Potters Bar and went through the local school system. Chris has long record of activism on issues including human rights and promoting peace. He is passionate about animal welfare and volunteers with the RSPCA, and is one half of Hertsmere’s first openly queer couple on the Council. Chris sits on the Licensing and Standards Committees. He was successfully re-elected in 2023 with an increased majority. In 2021 Chris was elected to South Mimms and Ridge Parish Council and serves as the Deputy Chairman for the council, being a local leader.
